Also Present: Christina Mailhos, First Selectman; Donna Latincsics, Business Manager; Tish Ignatowicz, Treasurer.
Chairman Schoppmann called the meeting to order at 7:04 P.M.
SEATING OF ALTERNATES
Chopeta Lyons motioned to seat Mark Wiggins for Ann Marie Brown. Alan Ference seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion to approve the Regular meeting minutes of August 19, 2010 was made by Chopeta Lyons, Ken Schoppmann seconded. All were in favor, motion carried.

Budget Season Discussion
The following topics and items were discussed:
Board of Finance -2- September 16, 2010
- Government stimulus for education
- Increase in cost for Region 19
- Loss of revenue from the State
- Letter to the Town’s departments concerning the Budget Season
- Public Works and road conditions
- Managing services with less
- Utilizing CCM to help with Budget process
CORRESPONDENCE - none
GOOD & WELFARE –
Selectman Mailhos updated the Board on where things stand on the installation of the water main.
Peter Latincsics remind the Board of the Region 19 Referendum on September 28th for the ball fields.
